El Sewedy Cables to sign contract with Mozambique

Egypt's El Sewedy Cables will sign a contract by end May with Mozambique's state electricity utility to reinforce the distribution networks in two cities there, the firm said in a statement on Monday.

"The total contract value for the project is $100 million and will take two years for completion. Our scope in the project for the two cities will include supplying and installment of overhead cables, underground cables and electrical accessories," the statement said.
